Biography

Agronomist from the University of Caldas, specialist in postharvest of perishable vegetables from the University of Quindío and PhD in Agrarian Sciences from the National University of Colombia, Medellín headquarters (Colombia), with an in-depth postharvest area. Currently, he works as an associate Ph.D. researcher, in the area of ??postharvest physiology and agronomic management of crops, at the La Selva Research Center of the Colombian Agricultural Research Corporation (Agrosavia), in the vegetable network and aromatic plants, where he works in vegetables and fruit trees. Member of the Colciencias research group “Alimentos-frutales” (A1), since 1994), with researchers from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia Manizales. ICA researcher from 1988 to 1993 and at Agrosavia since 1994; currently based at the La Selva Research Center in Rionegro (Antioquia).
