Biography

Microbiologist and Master in Agricultural Sciences with emphasis in Plant Pathology. She has worked in disease diagnosis at the Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario ICA, in teaching at the Faculty of Agronomy of the National University of Colombia in Bogotá and as a researcher at the Michigan State University, the National University of Colombia in Bogotá and the Universidad de los Andes. During his career he has had the opportunity to delve into the line of diseases of transitory and fruit crops, their identification, genetics of resistance and population studies. His interests are focused on the study of the interactions between vectors and the development of diseases caused by different pathogens.
