Biography

Agricultural Engineer, graduated from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). I work as a Researcher of the National Leguminous Program of the Dominican Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Research (IDIAF). Project leader: Multiplication of quality pigeon pea seed (Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp) in the Dominican Republic. Co-investigator of the project: Development of competitive and sustainable technology in the cultivation of maize (Zea mays L.) to face climate variation. Funder MESCYT. Project leader: Regional alliances for the dissemination of iron-rich beans in Latin American and Caribbean countries. Dominican Republic. Funder FONTAGRO. Co-investigator of the project: Agronomic and Industrial Evaluation of Improved Varieties of Jatropha curcas for Biodiesel Production. Funded by the National Energy Commission (CNE) and the INIFAP of Mexico. Other projects in which I have participated are: Development of competitive and sustainable technologies to increase the supply of quality raw materials in the pigeon pea agroindustry (Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp.) in the Dominican Republic. Funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCYT), Obtaining varieties of pigeon pea (Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp), of high productivity in the Dominican Republic.
