Biography

At AGROSAVIA (formerly Corpoica) since 2001 at the Tibaitatá Research Center as a professional researcher. Involved in the coordination of public / private alliances for the production of seeds in initial phases with small producers in the high Andean zone, as well as the formation of technology-based companies (EBT) for the production of cassava, banana, yam and sweet potato seeds in the Colombian Dry Caribbean. MSc researcher since 2010, supporting the “Shock Plan” financed by MADR for the production and timely delivery of seeds to small producers in the Caribbean Region of the Phase I Winter Wave Project and coordinator of the food security component for capacity recovery production of 16,000 families affected by the effect of the La Niña phenomenon in 2011. Between 2012 and 2016, Manager of the Cacao Innovation Network facilitating the processes of formulation and monitoring of the first Corporate Five-Year Agenda, the linkage of technologies to the sector and AGROSAVIA representative before the National Cocoa Council. In 2017 Master researcher assigned to the Cacao Innovation Network of the Palmira Research Center, in the area of ??crop ecophysiology. Since 2018 at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, developing a PhD program in Crop Sciences and linked to the Climate Change and Cocoa Ecophysiology project of Cocoa Research UK (CRUK).
